The Quantum Information team (QI) was formed in 2016, sitting in the LIP6, in Sorbonne Université. Its research covers many different topics in quantum information science.
Phys.org highlights recent work by Dr. Cica Gustiani and Prof. Elham Kashefi on a cryptographic protocol enabling quantum computers to self-verify their outputs. Successfully implemented on Quantinuum’s trapped-ion quantum processing unit, this collaboration with the University of Edinburgh’s Quantum Software Lab represents a key step toward trustworthy quantum computation on near-term devices.
